Academy users are well-trained to compete in the workplace. Maintaining a skill-set that changes and improves as quickly as technology and the law can be challenging. Andere has worked to put in place a system of micro-learning which addresses a variety of topics necessary to compete in today’s workplace environment. Every week, learners will notice 5-10 NEW eLearning courses or videos covering the professional use of websites, applications, management skills, communication techniques, sales, marketing and much more!

 
What is Micro-learning?
Micro-learning is a way of teaching and delivering content to learners in small, very specific bursts. The learners are in control of what and when they’re learning.

Why has Micro-learning become so popular recently?

To answer this question, you have to take a look at who comprises a majority of learners. By 2025, Millennials alone will make up that 75 percent of the workforce. The average attention span of the Millennial generation is 90 seconds. Andere Academy has taken the time to research this dynamic of our community of learners and adapt our e-Learning courses to the needs of the masses.

Short bursts of training are beneficial for more than the Millennial crowd. Learners may battle ADD, ADHD, PTSD, dyslexia, control by abusive partners and a variety of other conditions and circumstances that make the micro-learning model very appealing.

All of our content is built to use on any mobile device. The micro-learning model is perfect for this platform. Our learners are able to watch a short video on the subway or while sitting in a waiting room. We allow unlimited views of everything on our Learning Management System.  This benefits learners who enjoy reviewing information multiple times in order to get the full meaning of the content.
